Alberni Inlet Trail - open for the summer
Harvesting operations immediately adjacent to the Alberni Inlet Trail have been completed for the spring and summer months. Island invites the residents and visitors of Port Alberni to enjoy a walk through a working forest as our weather improves.
We anticipate a second closure in the fall, which will be communicated through this blog as well as other contact points.

The first stage of the Alberni Inlet Trail is generally open for use through Island Timberlands' private property for the remainder of 2012 and winter 2013. There may be harvesting or forestry related activities in the area from time to time which may result in temporarily delays on trail passage. Please watch for signage and be very cognizant of forestry activity in the area.
