Recreational Access Closure - Cameron Mainline at 8km
Cameron Mainline is closed to the public until further notice where it joins with the Cameron Connector (approximately 8km). You cannot drive past the 8km point at this time.
The Cameron Mainline continues to be closed for the time being at 8km. This is reflected in the "Access Information" post applicable for this upcoming weekend - February 6-7.
We are looking at the Cameron Mainline, which accesses Pass Mainline, to be open likely at the end of February or in March. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Does this mean from the Connector up (towards Arrowsmith), or from the Connector down (to protect the Bainbridge watershed during this heavy rain)?
ReplyDeleteThis means Cameron Main is closed from the Connector 'up;' so there is no access to Yellow Creek or Pass Main (route to Arrowsmith).
ReplyDeleteIs there any timeline for when the section of road may be open again?
ReplyDeleteEstimated a couple weeks; we will provide an update here by next weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Will Keep an eye to see when that happens. Love getting out in that area.
