  4. Hi Phillip,

Are you referring to firewood availability in Nanaimo or other access area openings?

  5. Best to ask questions about firewood on the firewood posts so everyone interested in firewood can read about it. We plan to have some sort of firewood opportunity in Nanaimo, out Nanaimo Lakes Road area, within the next month.

  6. We expect to keep the 22km gate (official access to Island's property) closed at this time to reduce vandalism to equipment related to our operations. We have experienced a significant increase in the Chemainus and Shawnigan areas over the last year.

Hey whats the scoop with the gate for shawnigan division being closed?...although there are many ways to enter this division other than the gate at glenora ...we are respective of the gate and island timberlands..so only enter though the gate ...waiting for an opportunity to go fishing...and we dont hesitate to report any wrong doing we see
    thanks

  8. The Shawnigan gate has been closed to restrict access to the public around active harvest areas. We have done this to reduce vandalism and theft we have experienced an up-tick in over the last year in the area.
