There will be no areas open for Firewood cutting this weekend.
Please note, on weekdays access is closed to the Public, gates may still be open to facilitate access by operational equipment and vehicles. Note any open gates may be closed at any time.
Temporary Closure - Alberni Inlet Trail
There will be a short term closure of the Inlet Trail
from the entrance just above the China Creek dryland sort to approximately 1km
up the trail while we harvest in the area.
The closure will start the week of January 16th
and be complete in approximately two months (dependent on weather).
Please heed all signs and see the blog for any updates.

Unless otherwise noted in this blog, all of Island Timberlands' Property is closed to the public during the week, this includes hunting. Unauthorized access, at any time, will not be tolerated and mobile Security patrols are active 24/7 to enforce this policy.
Off-Roading is not permitted on Island Timberlands Property. Please respect the environment and keep your vehicles on the main travelled roads at all times.
No fires, camping, target practice/shooting or off-road vehicles (i.e. Snow Mobiles, ATVs, UTVs, buggies or side-by-sides) are permitted on our property, unless authorized by Island Timberlands.
Don't let the few Criminals ruin access for everyone! If you see any suspicious activities on our lands you can report them! Do not put yourself in an unsafe situation or confrontation.

ReplyDeleteAt the moment the only authorized ATV users belong to the Comox ATV Club. This club has access to sections of our Buckley Bay Operations and use this area under specific rules. If you require more information I suggest you contact the Comox ATV Club.
