Cameron Operation: For this weekend, Cameron Main and Cameron Connector gates will be open to the Public for access to Pass Main (Mount Arrowsmith) and Labour Day Lake.
Comox and Ash Main : There will be no hauling this weekend the gates will be open, all visitors are asked to respect the signs and not to enter active worksites.
Chemainus (Copper Canyon) Operation: Open, up to 22km
North West Bay 155 Mainline: Equipment will be operating in some areas obey the signs and do not go beyond an active work site sign.
Buckley Bay; Access to Tumblewater is closed this weekend
Please use caution and be aware that you may encounter heavy equipment at any time this weekend.

CSWM Launches Illegal Dumping Prevention Program
Comox Strathcona Waste Management (CSWM) has launched a new program aimed at preventing illegal dumping across the region. This new program includes a public education and awareness campaign and a new illegal dumping bylaw.

Unless otherwise authorized, ATV's and Snow Mobiles are not permitted on Island Timberlands Property. In addition, campfires, camping and off-roading are not permitted. Please respect the environment and keep your vehicles on the main travelled roads at all times.

ReplyDeleteAlthough we normally update the blog on Thursday afternoon, I can say that unless there are some unforeseen circumstances i.e. heavy snowfall, we plan to be working in all operations on Friday. On Monday Nov 13th there will be operations where we will not be working and they will be open for recreation. Check the blog on Thursday for more detail.
