The weather forecast is calling for snow this weekend, therefore to ensure we can safely operate our snow removal and sanding equipment we will be closing our Operating areas this weekend. In addition, by keeping vehicles off our roads before plowing and sanding ensures we can effectively remove all of the snow from the roads. If vehicles are on the roads before plowing and sanding occurs, their tires compact the snow and can cause ice to form making it very difficult to remove.
We apologize for the inconvenience these closures may cause.
***Note*** Depending on the Snow levels in the Cameron Valley this weekend we will make an effort to keep Cameron Mainline and the Cameron Connector open for Access. This opening is subject to change, please check the blog for updates.
***UPDATE*** Cameron Main from 0 km to 8 km will be closed this weekend. Access beyond 8 km is available through the Cameron Connector off Hwy 4.
